Brand Colors: How to Choose the Right One For You!

As if I didn't already have enough hobbies between writing, acting and traveling, I am super excited to say that I've officially launched a copywriting and email marketing agency! Novel Daze Creative is all about crafting genuine copy that attracts the tribe that aligns with your brand. Whether you're a small business or a solopreneur, I'll be the creative arm that tells your story across your website and email series!

Let me tell you, attempting to create a brand on my own was not easy. I've gone back and forth on what I wanted Novel Daze Creative to me and I know that the first 6 months it will ebb and flow. So, I didn't want to fully invest in a brand/website launch until the foundation was built.

In order to build a cohesive vibe that I felt was really me, I turned to Canva. They had a ton of templates with brand colors that correlated so well together. Every template also had the HEX codes of the colors which I could easily input into my Wix website.

I found a few neutral palettes that fit my personality and worked them into my website until I found a color scheme that really felt like me. The brand colors flow so well together and they really allow my story to shine!

If you're in the beginning stages of building a brand or launching a website and you know that your niche or your services are going to change over the course of months or even the first year, I think this is a great place to start. Canva has been such a lifesaver for me in building Novel Daze Creative. You can create a brand kit with all of yours colors which makes it easy when designing social media templates, newsletters or brochures.

I really feel as if it's added a level of professionalism to my brand that I couldn't do myself.

P.S. - Yes, I do have an affiliate link with Canva, but honestly I truly just adore what it has done for me over the years and I wanted to share!
