I remember when I first started learning how to self-publish a book. There was no step-by-step guide to indie publishing. So, in the last 8 years... here is what I've learned.
The world of indie publishing is always changing. It’s a continuous journey to stay relevant and creative. Sometimes you want to stand your ground. Other times you need to give in to what works, yet still feel empowered and true to yourself and your writing. ⠀

It’s a tightrope. Keep your chin up. Keep moving forward on step at a time. Take it slow. If you fall, shake it off, get back on and try again. ⠀
This is the reason I decided to try my hand at cozy mystery after years in romance. I love romance, but it’s a VERY saturated market. Can you break through? Absolutely! There are certain directions I could’ve gone in, but instead I thought I’d try something new and I’m so glad I did!
