I’ve wanted to be an actress since I was 7 years old. I love the idea of stepping outside myself and creating something that didn’t exist before. I've always been fascinated with production and how everything comes together in the end.
When I lived in Nashville, I had the opportunity to be on set of the show Nashville many times. It's so neat to see it behind the scenes and then on television.
I’ve always been thankful that life allows me to grow in all of passions. It’s not always easy with a full-time job. I turn things down more than I would like, but I’m a firm believer that if it’s important to you, don’t let it go.
I hear NO way more often than YES in the acting world, but the moment that YES comes, it makes every NO worth it. That's what keeps me going in the midst of every "cut," "do it again," "maybe next time."
